French President Emmanuel Macron declared the promotion of physical activity and sport to be a "Major National Cause" for 2024, during a meeting of the French Olympic and Paralympic Committee on 25/07/2022. Sport is now recognised as a factor in social inclusion and integration.

However, there are still a number of issues to be addressed: welcoming capacity, sports clubs that are not trained to supervise people with disabilities, availability of activities, lack of adapted infrastructure, etc.

At a time when amateur sport is looking for ways to grow and find funding, what if inclusion and the development of mixed sport were among the solutions? How can access to sport for people with disabilities be made truly effective in our country? How can we encourage mixed participation in sports clubs and associations? What intangible legacy for inclusion will Paris 2024 Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games Organising Committee. leave behind?

These are some of the questions that our three speakers will attempt to answer during a round table discussion organised as part of Think Sport (an event this year held entirely in French) at the end of the morning on 03/10/2023.
